Knowing most of the FileMaker experts are out there and on this fmgreet, and I have nothing fancy to say. Rather, I am just an ordinary user but nothing else. I have all the reasons why I want to work in the industry of FileMaker which I will explain from time to time. Today, I will just brief you as below.

I am working as FileMaker Consultant at Recrear Inc. It’s a FileMaker developer house based in Tokyo. Most of the time, I am trying to consult clients who wants to use FileMaker, especially in English environment, and what kind of solutions they can benefit by utilising FileMaker. It’s easy to say than done, that’s right. But, if I have no passion in FileMaker, I guess clients won’t be convinced with me.

I have clients who asked a few FileMaker developers from outside Japan English countries to show them the products, and surprisingly the client were not convinced. I think the key point is how much do you really understand your client needs.

I am glad that I love FileMaker (touch wood!), and the passion brings me to my career today. I thank my company and president Katsunori Shigeta to have given me the chance to work with Recrear. Without him, I really don’t know how I could have involved in FileMaker.
